Cranberry Bliss Madness

To start December off on a blissful foot I decided to make homemade cranberry bliss bars. Jenn from Leona Lane and her husband Matt came over to hang out for a while so she helped. They were pretty easy to make and came out super yummy. They taste really similar to Starbucks version, but are way more friendly to your wallet!

Directions:
1/2 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 dried cranberries

Topping:
1 cup white chocolate melted
4 ounces cream cheese
3/4 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 dried cranberries

Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Mix together butter, egg, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Add flour and salt. Fold in white chocolate chips and cranberries. Pour into an 8 by 8 pan that is lined with aluminum foil that is sprayed with cooking spray. Put in over for 20 minutes. Let cool before adding topping.

For the topping mix together 3/4 cups of the melted white chocolate , cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar until stiff. Spread on cooled bar, sprinkle with cranberries and drizzle with the rest of the melted white chocolate. Let it sit for 30 minutes before cutting!
